The YEG does not consist of multiple terminals that house different passengers. Instead, the airport is essentially one very large building with all of the main events being housed in that building.
The terminal is divided into different levels for added organization. The first level welcomes passengers arriving at the YEG, while the second level welcomes passengers departing from the YEG. There is also a third level, which is a mezzanine.
In general, the airport includes around fifty different airlines operating at its grounds, although they might not all be operative at all times. These airlines travel to nearly 55 different domestic and international destinations!
The airport also serves as a headquarters for major airlines such as Flair Airlines, Swoop, and WestJet. In fact, WestJet is one of the airlines that operate the most departures from Edmonton Airport.
And speaking of destinations, the following are considered the top destinations that passengers take from the YEG:
- Las Vegas, Nevada
- Seattle, Washington
- Phoenix-Sky Harbor, Arizona

If you are planning on leaving your car at the airport while you are on your travels, the YEG accommodates for you with plenty of parking yeg airport lot options for you to choose from.
